Quickling
I'm trying to come up with a few gift ideas for groomsmen. Both are shooters, one is a precision shooter, the other a mag dumper. One of them gave me a SOG hatchet and skull multi-tool at his wedding. So I am trying to think of something kinda silly, the kind of man gift you enjoy but wouldn't buy yourself. tadbart
what's your price range? I still have a flask from being a groomsman. all the way up to maybe a nice red dot, which could always be used.
Collim1
https://www.gransforsbruk.com/en/product/gransfors-wildlife-hatchet/ mine will shave the hair off my leg clean, and slice paper. If they are outdoorsman it will be a handy tool they are proud to own. It’s perfect for camp crafting & woodwork. Carves, splits and chops with very minimal effort. Its in the ~$150 price range.

Quickling
Actually going off the knife theme I just thought of some of the knife making kits out there. I looked at a few and I think they might offer some promise. As far as my price range, I am buying their suit jackets so I am trying to keep the gift in the $50ish range.

gwalchmai
This trend is fast approaching silliness. Bad enough the idiotic things women find to waste money on for weddings.
toofman
Get a Leatherman. Even if they have one, they can throw it in the truck. Booze is also a universal gift.

Shop around and you can probably find them in the mid to upper $70s. Not far from your original budget.
Historian
One of the best and most useful I received was a silver business card holder with my name engraved on it. Classy and functional and not very expensive. But solidly useful. The worst was a key chain to a Corvette. I still laugh over this one. Yeah. I tossed it. Silver flask would be nice. tadbart
Leatherman, Zippo, knife, flask, flashlight. Those really seem to be about the best ideas. Most guys can find a use for most of these items.
