It almost works, but not quite, and a regular El Camino with those wheels and the paint job would look better and the aerodynamic benefits of the pointy nose only work at speeds of over 80-90 mph and the aerodynamic effects of the spoiler wing at high speeds would be negated by wind turbulence n the bed of the truck with the closed tailgate.

I remember back in 1970 when I saw my first Superbird up close driving on the streets of Austin Texas, and it really blew my mind, but not because t was breathtakingly beautiful, because it wasn't, but just because it was so radical. and I knew about the car at the time, but it was really impressive to see one slowly cruising down the street.

1963 Oldsmobile Starfire. That is a nice car.   Specs: Displacement : 394.0 cu in. Power : 345 BHP @ 4600 RPM Torque : 440 Ft-Lbs  @ 3200 RPM  Rochester Multi-Jet 4-barrel, dual exhaust 3 speed Hydramatc Trans Curb weight 4334 lbs Wheelbase 123 in Overall length: 213.9 in

(Edit) Looking at this car, it's supposedly a full size car but it really doesn't look that much bigger than a "Mid-sized" GTO. so I did a comparison. Compare these specs to that of the Oldsmobile.

1964 Pontiac GTO Specs: Displacement: 388.4 cu in. power: 325 bhp  @ 4800 rpm. Torque: 428 Ft-Lbs 3200 rpm Carter AFB Muncie M-21 4-speed Curb weight: 3450 lbs Wheelbase 115 in Overall length: 203 in. Optional Tri-power engine: 360 hp @ 5,200 rpm. 424 ft·lbs @ 3,600 rpm

The GTO had a longer wheelbase but was only ten inches longer overall but the goat weighed almost a thousand pound less. Good Idea, John DeLorean!
