“Back in the day” Farmall offered some tractors which were started using gasoline then switched to kerosene once they were warmed up. An uncle had one. How different the petroleum business and pricing was then.

200 mile range. So 100 out and 100 back, right?

So a Bristol-Memphis run - 503 miles 7 hours 8 minutes gasoline vehicle with one possibly two fuel stops (add 15 minutes each) becomes how long with two maybe three charging stops?

Quite a few of these tractors and trucks that "could be ran" on kerosene had notices in the paperwork that stated running them on kerosene would void the warranty. The 1917 IH tractor was different in that the warranty actually allowed them to be ran on kerosene without voiding the warranty.

That's the reason I wouldn't ever own an electric vehicle. I get irritated when it tales me 2 minutes to fuel the truck traditionally, lol.
