Question about Lincoln’s War…

I have read that some men had enough front teeth pulled that they could no longer quickly tear open a powder cartridge when reloading a rifle or musket. This supposedly kept them from being drafted because they were physically unable to serve

How much truth is in this?

I think every trick in the book has been tried one time or another in every war draft we've had.

I forgot about men wearing dresses which will not keep you out of the service now.  Neither will fingernail polish and lipstick.

It's easier than ever to dodge the draft. Just refuse to take the stab or use their pronouns.

That's part of the problem. Doing so gets them shits a sign on bonus. The purge has been ongoing, and they wonder why there's a recruiting problem.
