However too many of the vocals depress me. “…it’s the best time of the year…” remembering the people with whom I once shared the joy and excitement of Christmas who have gone on often makes a lie of that phrase for me. Hope most people are not affected this way. The last Christmas I enjoyed was when I was about 12 years old. That Summer my mother left, my father was twice her age and drove her out. I don't blame her. Anyway, we quit celebrating anything after she left, she took the life of our family with her. I can't seem to get into a celebratory mode after that. My wife tried but it takes two. Now the best celebration of my life is just being with my wife regardless of the season.
