jmohme
Need to keep close watch on the chicken pen. No eggs for the past two days, so started checking nooks and crannies in the coupe. 1

jmohme
My wife is 5 2 and it was longer than she is tall. The bugger got at least a dozen eggs over the last two days too! 1
Al Czervik
Bad snek. I'd probably tie in a knot and drop it in the middle of a freshly mowed or plowed field to feed a raptor. Er, I mean, I know a guy that is really mean and might do that. 1
Valmet
That's definitely not something I'd want to stumble upon. I'm assuming you dispatched him straight away?
jmohme
That brings up another subject. There is a mating pair or red shouldered hawks on our property that are apparently slacking off!

No, these are actually beneficial snakes. Rodent hunters, so I relocated him three miles away where there are more rodents than chicken eggs. 6
Mrs.Cicero
I'm glad you didn't kill him. I like snakes, as long as they aren't after my stock. When they go after my stock, I don't like them anymore, but I do try to remove them rather than killing them if it is possible. Usually it is.
