DrB
Most times I make my own but sometimes I like to try things. This looked interesting. No added sugars or crap. What do you use for homemade pizza? Dave..
BamaBud
If it comes from NJ, probably tastes like crap. 1

I'll find out with this but I have had some Italian food from there that has been damn good. Dave
Historian
That sounds fun! When the kid was a kid we used to make home made pizzas. It's been a while. A lot of people say it's the crust. To me...it's the sauce that makes the difference. 1

Historian
This is like pasta sauce. Once I learned how easy it was to make...it just takes time...I never bought a jar again. It's not worth it. I know a guy at the Saturday farmer's market who sells me blemished tomatoes for six to a dollar. Sometimes more. Oh that makes a wonderful aroma when slowly cooking. Years ago when the wife returned to work after having the kid I would spend every other weekend as Daddy Day Care. It was great in many ways. The baby girl and I would go to the market and cook what was fresh and in season. The wife would come home to a clean kid, a clean house and a home cooked meal. Silentpoet
I just bought some meat flavored sauce at wally world. I usually use that as a base and add some of my own spices. For the crust I usually use pita bread because it is quick and easy. I can go from starting to eating in less than 15 minutes. I'll turn the oven on to 450 and then start assembling the pizza.
