Administrators Eric Posted December 28, 2017 Administrators Share Posted December 28, 2017 This is a Damascus Bowie knife, made by Marfione. In addition to their own knives, they do custom knives for Microtech.
Administrators Eric Posted December 28, 2017 Author Administrators Share Posted December 28, 2017 With the exception of a few knives with too-short grips, I like everything Böker makes.
Administrators Eric Posted December 28, 2017 Author Administrators Share Posted December 28, 2017 Surprisingly, this is a S&W knife. Most of their knives are lower-end and this one may well be too, but I like the design.

Maccabeus
Some of those look really sharp! (Pun intended). I'm not a knife connoisseur, but more of a pragmatist. I've carried a Spartan SAK for decades since middle school, only just recently trading it out/upgrading to a Swissbianco Yeoman SAK (to finally have scissors and to get the magnifying glass). I bought a SAK for my son when he hit middle school as his first knife, too, after which he bought himself a couple more. Recently, as a special gift, I offered to buy him a knife and suggested he might want a folder like many folks carry these days and he picked this CRKT Ripple: It seems nice to me. Any opinions on CRKT in general or this knife in particular? Did he choose well for a first knife of this sort? (Note: All pictures borrowed from a bing search. Not my own).

PNWguy
I tend towards the classics when I think of attractive knives... The Buck 119 Special... The Schrade Golden Spike... And the good ol' USMC KA-BAR... 2
Brad
Probably just because my Dad and other men around me carried these when I was a kid. Seems like these two knives were everywhere. Edited December 30, 2017 by Brad

That bottom one looks like a Schrade LB-7 Bear Paw. Had a couple of them growing up. Only knife I ever saw that was guaranteed against loss, by the manufacturer.
