I don't recall what it did exactly, but it was some sort of scraper or scorer. Thin steel and narrow is usually cut in decorative curves to add bead work to cabinetry. You just grind a square edge and/or curve with a burr, and start scraping and it turns into beautiful artistry. Scrapers are simple tools that leave a mirror edge or surface on hardwoods.
