I agree with this.

Forget the us-versus-them political aspect.

Criminals that have served their sentence (I love how they refer to them as 'formerly incarcerated') no longer owe society anything other than to be good citizens and citizens have the right to vote -- and purchase and own firearms.

Judge a man (or women, or pan-gender) for what they did, not what they might do in the future.

If the government can deny rights to the 'formerly incarcerated,' they can deny rights to anyone and everyone.

Served their sentence does not mean early release.
