Administrators Eric Posted June 8, 2021 Author Administrators Share Posted June 8, 2021 The Bristol Brabazon. This behemoth was powered by eight 18-cylinder radial engines, each producing 2,650hp. The aircraft had four sets of contra-rotating propellers, each powered by two engines. It was a truly enormous aircraft and it was quite advanced, but Bristol build this prop-driven passenger liner at the start of the jet age. This project was doomed before the first test flight.
