'This Meme' sung to the tune of "This Song" by George Harrison.

"This Song" was written by George Harrison for his 1976 album Thirty Three & 1/3. It was released as the first single from the album and reached number 25 on the American charts. Harrison wrote the song as a response to the copyright infringement suit launched against him over his early 1970s hit "My Sweet Lord". The lyrics use terminology associated with the court case and mention other song titles as a satirical comment on the notion of plagiarism in popular music.

It's funk-tastic!

All the guys are wearing really shorty-short gym-class pants.

All the girls got Farrah hair.

In a desolate future world, a group of children being brainwashed into serving a dictator go in search of an unknown water source, guided by Bodhi, a glowing sphere.

And that one girl WITH THIS REALLY REALLY SQUEEKY VOICE,   that has been in a bunch of movies.

Bodhi is, like,  a kickball,  with a glowstick in it.  No special effects, back then.

Except for the "zoom" noise they give to their rollerblades.

I remember this one. Actually, I remember the part where the protagonist buys "a box of cartridges for the two-two".
