So did I, from '69 until "73. but it didn't run all those years. It was a '62 Monza and fun while it lasted. And I read Nader's "Unsafe At Any Speed" before investing my hard-earned $200.

Great running/handling car the entire time I owned it. YMMV. tom.

Borg warner
My Nephew's wife told me she was getting a 50 year old "Rambler" from an uncle who died and left it to his son but his son never drove it for a long time and it's been sitting for 20 years since it last ran and he said she could have it if she wanted it. I asked her what it looked like and she said it was green with a vinyl top but that the top was no good anymore from sitting outside but the paint was still good. She said it was a 1970 Rambler "Rebel". I googled images for green 1970 AMC Rebel and got these images and she said that's exactly what it looked like the last time she saw it except for the chrome mag wheels. My nephew is a full time mechanic and is in the National Guard and has a huge garage at home where he can work on cars. His wife is into cars and has a 1954 Ford F-150 he's fixing up for her and the "Rambler" is in Colorado and they are going to drive back in his 4WD Dodge Ram Diesel with a trailer and bring it back, and visit her parents. I dorve it to Colorado once and drove to the top of Pikes peak. Mine was white with a blue interior. 2 dr hardtop.
