I also bought a G43 kinda on a whim. I like it a lot. It fits nicely in my cargo pocket with a good pocket holster. I do however feel under gunned with it. I would not carry just that into Seattle. That is just a very unsafe city. I will have my G22 with critical defense and a spare mag. I carry that in a belly band. So the G43 will still be in my pocket for quick access. But with roving gangs 9mm or 6 rounds is not enough. And no 9mm is not just as good.

I don't think I mentioned it here, but on the other site I shared that the 12 round G43 ETS mag in my picture above has proven unreliable with self-defense ammo, so I don't carry it anymore as a backup.  I will typically carry one extra OEM mag, sometimes two.  On rare occasions I'll carry the G30S with 9+1 in the pistol and another 13 in my front pocket.  But, the G43 satisfies me for 95% of my carry needs.

No love for John Moses Browning's crowning achievement.

The .25 ACP.  Surprising!  :dancinguy:

I did on a few rare occasions carry my Beretta Jetfire when I needed really, really deep concealment. Still better than nothing. I have an LCP, but a .25 you trust is Bette than a .380 you don’t.

.45ACP. I carry 230gr Remington Golden Sabers. Great ammo. Not much muzzle flash, in low-light conditions, and it is very consistent. The brass-jacketed bullets and the ball profile hollowpoints work well in finicky firearms.
