Girl in the Picture is the saddest movie I've seen in a while.

I watched Girl in the Picture on the Netflix last night. The things people do to one another makes me sick sometimes. I hope there's a heaven and she's there with her son.

I try not to watch movies like that, at least based on how you describe it.  I have seen too much from various jobs or life experiences.  I am not the best person because of it.

I’ve moved my modern fiction reading into the “cozy mysteries” genre, and my movie watching the same way. Blood and gore and torture turn me off and get the book laid aside unfinished and the channel changed or the TV off.

Saw another movie recently called The Girl Next Door and it's also based on a true story of horrific events.  It's more of a psychological thriller because there's very little blood or gore actually showed, but it's an awful movie that leaves you feel empty when it's over.  Here's PKA talking about it:

I should note that this is a true crime documentary, but Netflix calls it a movie. Never quite understood that but there's a lot about NF I don't understand...
