In that case, I'm going to blame the sudden tinnitus on the 'rona, since it started right after I got the China virus.

Ear infection with 'rona?

My interpretation of Tinnitus since I have had it all my life.  The hairs in the inner ear break off from illness or m(?).  This means that the ear is losing sensitivity.  The brain then increases the "system gain", or sensitivity, to achieve some level of normal.

This increased sensitivity, along with less hearing from the damaged tiny hairs of the inner ear, means that you now get the same feedback as a microphone too close to the speaker.

A closed loop resulting in feedback sounding like a tone, Tinnitus.  It's initially triggered by noise from your inner ear that is now amplified and triggers the feedback loop.

I talked with an "Ear specialist" and he agreed, although my description is crude.

You may be on to something there. Wouldn't be the first time  a virus was blamed on something seemingly unrelated.

I need a tiny hair transplant in my ears then.

My hearing loss is labeled as "Profound".  I'm the perfect husband.  I can't hear her so she can say anything she damn well pleases and plead ignorance.

My perfection also includes:  I like burned meat, lots of Salt, instant potatoes, instant gravy, Lots of grease but not fat, my taste is going, and I like to buy women's jewelry, clothes and shoes.

My only drawback is that I like women .................................................
