If you have a Publix Supermarket near you.

About every other week, they have a sale where if you purchase $50.00 in groceries (at today's rate---about 1 and 1/2 plastic bag), you can purchase a $50.00 gas card for $40.00.

That's a 20% savings. Better than Costco.

Kroger, and maybe some of their subsidiary brands, gives “fuel” points for most purchases. Most gift cards give double points and sometimes four times fuel points. 100 fuel points = ten cents off per gallon up to 35 gallons. So buying $250 of cards you will use quickly times four = $35 saved at the pump on a single visit

I get the points for my daughter, since I no longer use much gasoline. And the cards I buy are for stores I frequent.
