She described a somewhat chaotic scene as her son unbuckled his booster seat and climbed into the driver’s seat. When she looked out the window, she heard a "loud boom." How do you teach a 4 year old boy how to handle a gun safely or how to stay away from guns? Most kids that age are known to break or forget rules. At that age you have to keep all firearms out of reach and locked up. Hiding guns in a box, in the closet won't do it either. Potheads shouldn't own guns to begin with. I saw too many pot users that turned into unreliable people that couldn't maintain a decent lifestyle and routine. Just a matter of time and they run into some form of trouble. On July 4, some weird but very polite woman and her husband/boyfriend/SO on crutches pulled into my driveway, walked/limped all the way to the house, knocked on my door, and she told me he saw an asteroid (yes, really, I know she meant meteorite, but whackos never seem to quite understand what they think they understand) crash onto the back of my property the eve before (down by the river, I assume) and then someone came onto our property and stole it. Supposedly he witnessed this on his camera. I'm assuming he meant a drone camera (there are a few that fly around here fairly regularly), because if he meant a game camera, I want to know why the hell he has a game camera pointed onto my property, since he isn't one of my neighbors, but whatever. Anyway, I told her I was at the back of the property with the kayaks the eve before and didn't see anything or anyone, and there was nothing I could do about it even if it happened... why they thought him seeing the "asteroid" crash made it THEIRS I really do not know. Mr C shoed them gently off the property before I could set the dogs on them out of curiosity about the real need for the crutches... the whole thing was bizarre, and if they were just tweakers casing the place, they got a nice view and an earful of the 130# dog NOT liking them around... They aren't allowed in there for the same reason they're not allowed in bars. The reason why they're allowed in liquor stores is because alcohol is not the only thing sold there.
