Looks like an interesting idea for those that are new to knife sharpening, or not very good at it. I used to be new to it. Now I’m not very good at it. :biggrin: Well, I’m pretty good with a sharpening steel (from a 6-month stint as a meat cutter), but not so good with a stone.

I've got a dozens of them.  They are magnificent inexpensive knives.

The first time I fished with the Amish,  I handed one to someone.  They bummed all three I had.

Now,  each time I visit,  I take a half dozen.

It's the first thing they ask about.

I've got several kukris.

Only,  I didn't research much,  and bought cheap ones off the internet.

They all weigh three or four pounds.  You definitely don't want smacked with one.

They use them to kill yetis in the mountains.

But the edges look like they jacked up a nissan,  took off the wheel,  and sharpened them with the brake disc.

You can use them to split logs.
