Administrators Eric Posted May 26, 2021 Administrators Share Posted May 26, 2021 Looks like an interesting idea for those that are new to knife sharpening, or not very good at it. I used to be new to it. Now I’m not very good at it. Well, I’m pretty good with a sharpening steel (from a 6-month stint as a meat cutter), but not so good with a stone. https://sharpworx.com

Administrators Eric Posted May 30, 2021 Administrators Share Posted May 30, 2021 I used to have a Böker Smatchett. The dollar is there to show scale. It is a big knife.

The first time I fished with the Amish, I handed one to someone. They bummed all three I had. Now, each time I visit, I take a half dozen. It's the first thing they ask about.
Huaco Kid
Even though they have easy access to Amazon, and have more money than I do. "Hey. The man just gives them away!"
Huaco Kid
I've got several kukris. Only, I didn't research much, and bought cheap ones off the internet. They all weigh three or four pounds. You definitely don't want smacked with one. They use them to kill yetis in the mountains. But the edges look like they jacked up a nissan, took off the wheel, and sharpened them with the brake disc. You can use them to split logs. 30 minutes ago, ChuteTheMall said:
Rellik
Coming back from the grocery store today,, found this in the road. Had been run over several times, run through a can/opener knife non-sharpener. Cleaned it up, and it is a Victorinox. - Score! 3
