This has gone way beyond stupid.

At one site when we show up we are now supposed to sign in a sheet that everyone else on the site has signed in on. Clear violation of guidelines about not spreading Wuhan virus.

Then the site PIC is supposed to take every ones temperature, without any medical training being only the first of many issues with that plan.

Then while onsite everyone is supposed to line up every hour and wash their hands at a single sink they have hauled in for the purpose.

Mind you on this site we normally show up, only talk to one or maybe two people the whole day, use only our personal equipment, then leave. They are trying to force increased interaction and potential contamination.

I will not comply. I don't have to work and certainly don't have to work there.

Most likely they will forget about it and not make an issue.

This always happens. In "their" exuberance to protect and comply many unnecessary consequences result.  People!  "Get rid of people and make the world a better place to live".

So, I was right, they really don't care that much.

Onsite people sort of went through the motions for half a day and then it was mostly dropped.

"If you've got those wipes and use them to clean your hands that works for me, I mean the point is just to keep people healthy here."

Yeah, whatever, comrade.

Just a thought.  If you repeatedly wash your hands with sanitary wipes, this is cleaning the oil off your skin with Alcohol.  Repeatedly removing the natural skin oils will result in your hands getting dry and the skin cracking.

Now, you are handling the things that may or may not be contaminated and by this process of sanitary wipes causing open wounds in the skin, albeit vary small cracks, you have provided a path directly into the body which bypasses all the sanitary measures you are using on the rest of your body...…………….  Just a thought.

More unintended consequences.

True. Even in extreme conditions, bones are showing through but it doesn't hurt.

We don’t for this either

.

Already have.

NYC has refrigerator parked behind a couple hospitals to stack the bodies in.  And they are being used.

And unlike the Flu - Even survivors stand a good chance of having permanent lung damage.

This is why you need to get a little diesel, hydraulic oil, or saw gas on your hands . Even crank case oil.
