And one of a downed German plane that he used part of the windscreen to create grip panels for his S&W M17 revolver...  Grandpa took hundreds of photos during his invasion of Italy and his unit was one of the ones used for inspiration for the movie "Fury".  I've shared these photos before and have been contacted by historians.  His never before seen photos have provided some much needed information in WWII research.  I'll probably do a thread on TBS on Veteran's Day featuring many more of his photos to honor his memory and his sacrifice.

Yes, it's Russian.

Neat aircraft.

Lockheed used some YAK-141s as test beds for the development of the F-35.

I've actually seen this movie.  My best friend in Arizona is a classic movie buff and made me watch it.  It's best with liberal amounts of alcohol...
