Batesmotel
I just scored 140 rounds of new brass. Powders are tough to find. Any favorites for 416 Rigby? I’ve only used 4831 but I’m open to others. Thanks.

Do you have any powder at hand?
Batesmotel
I found 8 pounds of 4831 so I’m set for a while. The only other powder I have is 4064 and that’s too fast for 416.
Valmet
I used to have a beautiful, 1971 German .378 Weatherby Mag and I used HD 4350 a lot with good results, though I know .416 Rigby doesn’t have the pressure of one of those monsters.

Second photography. Got hurt bad and that delayed things. Never made the safari. The 416 Rigby and 375 H&H are just for fun now. We were going to take a 300 Win and a 12 gage also. They promised a lot of birds in the area. Great eating. The 416 is fun if I can find real old bowling balls. The ones with the cork interior and resin exterior. Put them in the deep freezer for a week then hit them with a 400 grain solid. They explode.

The numbers .416, 375 and .460 are the number of legends. And..they exploded.
