Like the "Slow Children at Play" signs.

Why don't the slow children play somewhere else?

I liked the woman that sent a letter to the state DNR, protesting where they place Deer Crossing signs.  She thought they should place them at locations without so much traffic.  She said the present locations are causing to many Deer deaths, since they are poorly placed.

 

 

Personally, I liked the Burma Shave signs.

Oh yell, loved watching the Burma Shave signs as we drove down the road.

Back before there were very many interstates.

Out west we had similar signs put up by Stinker Service Stations. My favorite sign was posted in a particularly rocky area and read "Petrified Watermelons".

i cannot even begin to count the number of “failure to obey a traffic control device” citations I have written at this spot. I just sit on the side of the road and people just fly right by this sign and continue down the road.

Those, and the cross signs in the ditches where multiple deaths occurred.
