Actually, he wrote about his journey to replicate it. Two years after Jones’ book was published, his actual replica car could be yours. RM Sotheby’s is offering the exceptional recreation at its Petersen Automotive Museum Auction on December 8. It was done up in bad ,vehicle camo. On the hood was a Ma Duce (.50 Cal machine gun and box of ammo feeding it, made out of wooden dowel rods. It looked to be made to 1:1 scale. It was an amazing sight to see it following the traffic. I be it was even more amazing to see when it was behind you. I watched for it from then on, but the two times I saw it in the same week, were the last times ever I saw it. I imagine someone complained.
