OV1kenobi
Mr. Camp passed on and joined Our Lord and Mother Mary in May, 2011. I have no idea if he was a member of GT, but he was a very influential member and a gentleman of various firearms-friendly forums back in the 90's and turn of the century. I believe that I remember him from the old 24-Hour Campfire and Parallax forums when he gave me much needed reloading advice. A True Gentleman that NEVER had a bad word for anyone. Like Okie on GT, Mr. Camp never met a stranger nor an enemy. Do any of you remember Mr. Camp?

OV1kenobi
Yes, and hipowersandhandguns.com is still up. Sorry, Brother, but I don't get the meaning of your post. Nevef followed anything Hi-Power related. I am very glad that his legacy lives on. Edited August 13, 2017 by OV1kenobi
Grabbrass
Sorry, Brother, but I don't get the meaning of your post. That is/was Mr. Camp's website, which has a wealth of info on the HiPower and a number of other classic handguns. Several of his publications are also still sold through the website, I believe the proceeds go to his widow.

longhair
I am familiar with him from the 90's and early 2000's. Everything said is true. He,Lou Agassi, and others were influential in starting a 1911 pistolsmith forum I was involved with, First met him on a chat board from the Shooter's era. ROB
A true gentleman. I have his BHP disassembly guide, always enjoyed his thoughts and firearm reviews. I had known him from shooters as well. Gone way too soon.
