Eat your hearts out, young'uns.

Young writhing females in scanty dresses.

It was how we rode.

Too bad that inhaling all that hairspray killed most of them off before they reached thirty.

My sister was responsible for a bazillion empty cans of Aqua Net.

It was the 1960s.

I remember that smell well and since I was a child of the seventies, I remember the stench of hair being ironed.

My sister rolled her hair in orange juice concentrate cans -- and then slept that way.

I don't remember the last time I made a pitcher of orange juice from frozen concentrate. That's the only way we bought it, growing up.

That was also the era of bright blue, bright green eye shadow.

And girdles and hose, because panty hose weren't invented yet.

I can still hear my sister wailing because she couldn't find a garter and we had to leave for school.

Back then, garters must have vanished like socks in the dryer and 10mm sockets from anywhere.

I was always a fan of Jerry Reed. I loved him as the hitman in the movie The Survivors, with Walter Matthau and Robin Williams.

How do you do that? Trailer brakes only?

Probably stress fractures in the frame rails along those lines of bolt holes. I doubt if it is something that happened all at once. It was probably an exciting ride though.
