A change of pace

As some of you know, I make my living as an equestrian event photographer.

I do mostly Hunter/Jumper events with some breed specific shows every now and then.

This weekend was a bit different and quite a bit of fun.

Magnificent shot.  Motor Drive of course.  I really need to get back into Photography.

Digital. No motor, but yes, continuous shutter release.

I don't use that mode much, but for the slide shots, I do.

Walking Horse events in Shelbyville TN. Less action but might also be an interesting change of pace for you.

I've done walking horse shows. They are ok, but those folks don't buy enough pictures to make it worth my while.

I do pretty well with Arabian and Saddlebreds  too.

My bad...talkin "old school ****".  When I was shootin with my Nikon FT 104,  in Tokyo, 1967, I needed the "attachable" Motor drive.  The 104 had the Automatic Top.  You could change the top,  with just the FT, manual top.  Mine was All Black.  Almost impossible to find in 67.  I don't even want to talk about it....
