NPTim
Apple is putting the byte on me, talk about man bits dog, for more storage on the cloud. I want to suck out the photos off my iphone and keep them on a thumb drive. Maybe keep them on my PC, that I rarely use. Any guidance would be appreciated. I don't have a iphone but they have a similar solution. You can buy a flash drive designed just for downloading photos from your phone. One end of it is made to plug into your charging port of the phone and you can download. Here are a couple sites that may help. There are lots of sites with info about this. You can also email them to yourself as suggested. https://mashtips.com/iphone-backup-flash-drives/ https://www.mobikin.com/idevice/transfer-photos-from-iphone-to-flash-drive.html https://www.imyfone.com/phone-data-transfer/how-to-transfer-photos-from-iphone-to-usb-flash-drive/ 2
Swampfox762
Pretty sure you can just plug your iphone into your computer like I do with my android, and drag and drop them to your computer or thumb drive. Look up on the internet..."how to transfer photos from iphone to computer".
gwalchmai
I installed the iCloud app on my PC and have my iPhone and the PC sync to that. Then one can copy them to other media, clean out the ones you don't want, and not have to buy more space from Apple. IIRC, the iPhone can also be set to sync to other online storage instead of iCloud. I had mine setup to sync to MEGA for a while and it worked fine.
