Keep in mind that market value, that could all change tomorrow.

"Social media giants Facebook and Twitter have collectively seen $51.2 billion in combined market value wiped out over the last two trading sessions since they banned President Donald Trump from their platforms following the U.S. Capitol breach.

Large tech firms and a number Democratic political figures have claimed Trump incited violence at the U.S. Capitol last week. The incident disrupted debates in both the House and Senate as lawmakers were forced to shelter in place while police and security attempted to seize back control."

What assets do these companies own other than some software IP that they don't dare sell and a bunch of servers that started becoming obsolete before they were unboxed and some land in "Menlo Park" built on bay fill?

If they sell their software, hundreds of competitors could crop up overnight.

The only thing even remotely valuable that their stock value is pumped up by is their advertising revenue (which if every self respecting conservative got off their site) could plummet tomorrow.
