In his first year of HS my son pulled a 4.11 GPA (12 As and 2 Bs). If he does that this year he’ll be choosing between a Mustang and a Challenger. My daughter, in 8th grade, has never made less than an A. She is sounding like she’ll end up with an Accord or a Maxima. If I were picking the cars they would all end up in something big that had a zillion airbags and weighed at least 4,000 pounds. All of them will have cars equipped with a monitor that reports how they’re driving and where they are going. https://www.walmart.com/ip/GPS-Tracking-Device-for-Young-Drivers-Safety/999377524?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=3934&&adid=22222222227268227399&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=319119867588&wl4=pla-591306141805&wl5=9018776&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=113510041&wl11=online&wl12=999377524&veh=sem&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5Yuu77rl7AIVDdvACh3jIw_VEAQYBSABEgJvi_D_BwE we used to install devices like this in a lot of first cars sometimes Helicopter Parents, some were to see if Kids were Responsible enough for a newer car. ASH
off topic a bit but thead reminded me of it , I was watching gene simmons show way back , and he bought his daughter her first car , and she was so surprised so they came out of mansion and there sitting there was a smart car , and I thought to myself that's the dumbest and most stupid car you could buy , specially for your daughter , shocked the hell out of me . can afford any car in the world and pick her a tiny smart car ??? I think I stopped watching after that even thou I never watched it unless I ran across it on tv .
