Bernie believes that to solve our problems we much curtail citizen's rights.  it's the Socialists path to Communism, the only path he can accept.

The people cannot be trusted with many of their freedoms and therefore they deserve few, if any!

But he says nothing against vehicle deaths because the car is common even to him, but guns are not.

centralizing all the power in GOVERNMENT has not been good anywhere it was done.

the lessons of history are lost on Bernie.

if government never had a single corrupt, greedy person involved perhaps these things might be good. factor in human nature, and nothing works. the last time I checked, the only perfect person to ever walk the face of the earth got nailed to a tree over 2000 years ago.

power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

government needs to have checks and balances. handing over endless power is not the answer to any question except "how do we promote tyranny?"

of course we need to have regulation on business, and the health care industry is one of those examples.

so is the legal (not justice) industry.

our constitution was written to protect the citizens of the USA from centralized power and the tyranny that follows.

It's not lost on Bernie.  Bernie is a communist.  Plain.  Simple. Call him anything else and it's just wrong.  He sees history and doesn't care.  All he wants is a great big red star on our flag.

The guy should be living in Moscow.

Central to the idea of socialism is the notion that the leaders of a country are all knowing and smarter than the rest of us.  Whoa be the socialists if Bernie is the smartest guy they can find.

This is true.  But, consider that the most foolish among us can run for political office and there is nothing to stop the fools that see some personal return, from voting for them.

Politicians have no intelligence or training requirements for office.  Just the overriding drive for money and power to tell all citizens how they must live their lives.  They promise control and power for themselves.

They tend to be psychopaths.
