If you have an Android device, navigate to Settings, tap Backup & Reset, and then select Factory data reset. This will erase your phone and replace it with a fresh version of Android. For added security, it's recommended you update to the latest version of Android as well.

I don't really trust this to keep my contacts, pictures and other stuff. Will it?

My android say it will reset everything except security, language, and account settings.

Any customization such as ringtone & etc will be discarded.

Your personal data and settings of download apps will not be affected.

You first, I'm not going to chance it.

My feelings exactly.  Either I risk someone seeing my information, or I lose it altogether.

My approach to Alexa monitoring conversations, is to swear and bitch like a little brat at all the crap I don't like on TV.  I expect that soon they will think I'm completely crazy and potentially too dangerous to mess with.  Maybe...……..

The best way to mess with Alexa is to leave endless hours of animal/midget porn running on your computer while you're out of the house. That'll teach them not to spy on you...

If you have a internet security program (antivirus/malware) on your other computers, there is a good chance they have a android version you can download on your phone.  Also most programs such as CCleaner & Adware have a android versions you can download.
