johnbt
AlmazanKitchen => forest cooking www.youtube.com/channel/UCVVAnxQ2YMC_qlc7QfPA2YQ "On warm winter day with outside temp. only -30C we decided to cook this perfect cut of free-range meat. Mr.Ramsay the Owl helped us find some parsley from our natural freezer. We can't describe how tasty this dish was, you can only guess it while watching this pure therapeutic foodporn... Enjoy! Ingredients: 500g free-range filet mignon 150g mushrooms"
jmohme
My wife watches all that crap and the Food network on television too. I use that time to do nearly anything else and now it is infiltrating to the Bore Site. I just cant seem to escape! ? crockett
AlmazanKitchen is awesome! John at Food Wishes is a true Chef, but I stopped watching him when he made an anti Trump comment. Just one great dish: BBQ Pit Boys are great as well, not very refined though:

I want one of their $300 Serbian knives.
nitesite
@crockett That is just a carbon steel meat cleaver that is re-shaped into their unique design. You could make one from good steel for well under a hundo. I do love me some AlmazonKitchen.
johnbt
Maybe you could. I'd have to buy a few thousand dollars worth of tools and build a forge and buy a ton of steel just to get started. I don't need any more hobbies.

SigMan
I’m going to check some of these out. I enjoy cooking, but don’t currently follow any YouTube channels. I follow seriouseats.com and am a big fan of Kenji López-Alt and, to a lesser extent, Daniel Gritzer. The fact that Kenji is basically a communist is a little disheartening, but I enjoy his professional work.
