Arizona Gov. Election In Doubt As AG Demands Full Report On ‘Myriad Problems’ In Maricopa Voting.
Arizona’s attorney general’s office ordered Maricopa County officials to submit a report on its botched handling of the November 8 election that led to Democratic gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs’ apparent victory over Republican Kari Lake, saying answers are needed before the election can be certified.
In a letter from the election integrity unit of Attorney General Mark Brnovich’s office, a top official cited evidence of “statutory violations” in the contest, in which Hobbs, who as secretary of state, oversees elections, overcame huge deficits in the polls. There were widespread malfunctions of voting machines in conservative areas of the state’s most populous county, which became a national punchline as it took more than a week to tally votes.
“These complaints go beyond pure speculation, but include first-hand witness accounts that raise concerns regarding Maricopa’s lawful compliance with Arizona election law,” wrote Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Wright in a Saturday letter to the county’s chief civil division attorney, Thomas Liddy.
Wright requested a full report on how tabulator and printer malfunctions at some 60 Maricopa voting locations were addressed on Election Day, as well a copy of each voting location’s Official Ballot Report, including any discrepancies and explanations. The machines were tested the day before the election and no problems were detected, Wright’s letter noted.
Lake, who led in some polls by double digits heading into the election, has expressed skepticism that it was conducted honestly, saying “Arizonans know B.S. when they see it.” Her team has been gathering and tweeting testimonials of voters who said they were turned away when they tried to vote, watched as their ballots were rendered defective, or tabulated improperly.
Wright’s letter cites potential legal violations in the way poll workers handled ballots that could not be ingested into tabulators. There were widespread reports that those ballots were collected separately, though without proper security.
“Maricopa County appears to have failed to adhere to the statutory guidelines in segregating, counting, tabulating, tallying, and transporting the ‘Door 3’ ballots,” Wright wrote. “In fact, Maricopa County has admitted that in some voting locations, ‘Door 3’ non-tabulated ballots were commingled with tabulated ballots at the voting location.”
Wright cited a sworn statement from one election observer who said those non-tabulated votes were placed in duffle bags and possibly commingled with tabulated votes.
The state has not yet officially certified a winner, though that is supposed to occur at the beginning of next month. Wright said the report must be submitted before election results can be properly certified.
“Arizonans deserve a full report and accounting of the myriad problems that occurred in relation to Maricopa County’s administration of the 2022 General Election,” Wright wrote in the letter. “As the canvass is looming, and these issues relate to Maricopa County’s ability to lawfully certify election results, the Unit requests a response to the aforementioned issues on or before Maricopa County submits its official canvass to the Secretary of State, which must occur on or before November 28, 2022.”

Twitter Reinstates Undercover Journalism Enterprise Project Veritas.
Twitter reinstated the non-profit investigative journalism enterprise Project Veritas on Sunday, making it the latest account to have access again to the social media platform under its new owner Elon Musk.
Officials restricted Project Veritas in 2021 for allegedly posting a video showing Facebook Vice President Guy Rosen admitting the social media platform built a system designed to freeze commenting where hate speech or violence is detected, without confirming if the alleged speech was hateful or violent.
Alex Lorusso, the executive producer of “The Benny Report” on Newsmax, who was also recently reinstated on Twitter, posted the news as it broke.
“God bless @Project_Veritas for their work exposing Twitter when @ElonMusk was in the early stages of buying the platform,” Lorusso wrote.
Musk, who acquired the platform last month, has made several changes to the company’s structure. Since solidifying the $44 billion purchase last month, Musk has eliminated senior management officials, dubbed himself CEO, and dismissed more than half of the company’s staff.
Hundreds of employees at Twitter resigned from the company last week after the new CEO demanded that they commit to “extremely hardcore” working conditions to remain employed.
Despite losing his staff, who he has said is too large and disproportionately skews left-wing politically, Musk vowed to reverse lifetime bans for Twitter users kicked off under the company’s old guard.
“I think it’s essential to have free speech and for us to be able to communicate freely,” Musk said in a leaked video posted by Project Veritas last summer. “If there are multiple opinions, but just make sure we’re not sort of driving the narrative.”
“In order for people to have trust in Twitter, I think it’s extremely important that there’ll be transparency,” Musk added.
Musk has recently unbanned several high-profile users such as Donald Trump, Dr. Jordan B. Peterson, Kathy Griffin, and The Babylon Bee.
With his latest move to unlock Project Veritas’ account, other users like Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, Steve Bannon, Alex Jones, Milo Yiannopoulos, and Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe still remain in Twitter jail.
Twitter permanently banned the account of the O’Keefe last year for allegedly sharing “private information” without consent.
O’Keefe later said in a video that Twitter highlighted the apparent rule-violating post from Project Veritas as a video showing the Veritas reporters questioning Facebook Vice President of Integrity Guy Rosen outside his home.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis: 'World Economic Forum's Policies Are Dead on Arrival in the state of Florida’. (Video)
Klaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum, spoke at the G20 summit in Indonesia about a “deep systemic restructuring of our world.” He also said that the world would look different after this transition process.
“They are no longer hiding it. It’s The Great Reset,” reported Swedish journalist Peter Imanuelsen on Twitter. Bryan Griffin, press secretary to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, responded to his message. “Won’t be happening in Florida,” he said, then referenced a statement DeSantis made in late August: “Things like the World Economic Forum: those policies are dead on arrival in the state of Florida.”
“I want to have the values, not of Davos imposed on us but of places like Destin and Dunedin where I grew up,” the anti-Globalist governor insisted.
That will not happen
In May 2022, DeSantis said he “under no circumstances” supports the World Health Organization’s (WHO) pandemic treaty. “That’s not going to happen, No way,” he said at a press conference.
“You saw a lot of these elites advocate very pernicious policies,” he added, noting that “part of the reason people want to move here is that we rejected those policies, but they advocated very pernicious policies, including locking kids out of school.”
In addition, he pardoned all Covid offenders. Finally, he reversed fines or penalties received by state residents for violating any Covid measures.
DeSantis won Florida’s gubernatorial election by a landslide last week. He is also considered a possible presidential candidate.
