fortyofforty
Britain must no longer make or sell fowling pieces. That's the only explanation I can think of to explain why this potential terrorist wasn't blasted out of the sky. fortyofforty
I'm thinking some skeet loads would have done the trick.

rayzer007
I guess the no-fly zone is as effective as the no-gun zones.

Maybe it was Britain's job to protect the perimeter in Britain. And maybe Britains would rather allow a potential terrorist to glide through than risk giving him a booboo and angering a large voting bloc. blueiron
Both Special Branch and the US Secret Service get the blame for that one. Just because someone gets in close proximity to the President does not give law enforcement the authorization to kill that person. That person has to demonstrate a viable threat and a PLF doesn't qualify.
