Safes can be concealed between the studs of your walls, under your desk, and — now — in the headrest of your car seat. That previously under-utilized real estate could be a great place to conceal a weapon and other valuables inside your car.

This removable caddy will be available on Version 2, Spring 2023.

I love hidden safes, spaces, rooms, etc... and while that head rest is interesting, I need the ability to get to my gun faster than this would allow. And I need my $489 more than I need a headrest safe.

Agree, it's for those with money to blow.  Look like a nice place to hide a weapon when you can't take it with you.

Those are just detents and can be yanked hard and they will come out, supposed designed to yank out and break a window if you are submerged in water

Did you read under the picture where it says there is a anchor to lock in place.  I can only go by what the mfg posted on their site.

If you watch the video the locking anchor is the same technology you use to hang stuff on the wall with which look easy to defeat. Just like this one

No argument, you can only make things so safe when someone breaks into your car.  Center console, under the seat, or even the trunk.
