Loves me some corn aka hominy grits. Growing up dirt poor in the south can have an effect on ones pallet. I love Cajun food and southern fried everything. Black eyed peas are a staple, even though LostWife could care less. She will eat them, but not her favorite. She does like red beans and rice though.

I had bamboo worms at a bar in Chang Mai Thailand. They were deep crispy fried and had garlic, really tasty. I’d order it again.

Anyway, as I was saying, grits is the fruit of the corn. They's cheese grits, fish and grits, grits and gravy, grits with butter or salt and pepper, grits with runny eggs, fajita grits, sausage and grits, bbq chicken and grits, parmesan grits, grits cassarole, shredded pork and grits, shrimp and grits, grits pie, lemon grits, pineapple grits, gritsand, ...that's-that's about it.
