I miss motorcycles. Never qualified for the IBR, and not sure I would even want to try it. Grueling days on end.

Hats off to those who can even finish.

For any that may not understand this, it is an 11 day rally with each day being 1000 miles minimum. Yea, minimum. Lots of bonus points for detouring to places and pictures of them and the bike.

Think you can do it? Think hard. I have several 1K in 24 hours patches (pretty easy), and couple of 1500 in 36 hours (not quite so easy). A couple of Bun Burner Gold, 1500 in 24 hours (Bring your lunch). Those are tough and these folks will make 11 days in a row of these types of rides. I did a Saddle Sore 3K, 3000 miles in 3 days, and holy mother of what was I thinking! 

I don't want to imagine the miles, planning, money spent, and saddle time, lack of sleep, and maintenance these folks put in. Just in case you are wondering, if you turn in any documentation that shows an average of excessive speed over the posted limits, you just did all that for nothing. Not exactly sure where they cut it off, but they do. It isn't a race at all.
