Looks mostly true.  I would disagree about the NBA cancellation.  Seems it would be better for China if they did not cancel.

Seems the main thing giving this thing energy is the terrible way you can die.  I wonder how many terrible deaths happen from other things no one talks about like flesh eating bacteria, MERSA, Hanta etc.

It appears that the greatest threat we are facing is from ignorance, not the virus.

Ignorance will promote fallacious government policies, after exaggeration and inaccuracies in the number related to this virus.  Politicians, ignorant of how and what to do, are defaulting to the most extreme measures that provide them with more power and control over the people.  Local governments see an opportunity to demand federal money regardless of their actual state of health.  Politicians see money as the only answer to every problem.

Ignorance in the public for not understanding how and why they are being manipulated, due to their reliance on politicians for their information instead of people with ethics and morality who can promote objective results.  Accuracy in the data does not benefit politicians and those who strive for control.

Everyone in control is looking for a chance to appear important, more important than their "credentials" would imply.  All those who tell you how you are going to die from this "pandemic"  are people that want to taste the sense of being important and being your savior.

In the end, regardless of the actual truthful data about this virus, the politicians will say that you should re-elect them for their foresightedness and leadership ability to impose draconic sanctions and penalties on you, the public.  This will be in the face of the actual data that will say they had little or no need for such measures.

The press will fervently attack anyone that dares to contradict the liberal drive to an election.  Besides the politician, the second most ignorant are the media press who choose to not publish accurate data, when it doesn't promote their political choices.

Flying in the face of reality, these politicians will argue that when the actual numbers show that their response was a gross over exaggeration of a perceived threat, not an actual one, They will argue that shutting down the whole economy was responsible for the exceedingly low mortality and severe illness rate to the public, rather than the fact that they horrendously oversold the threat and have no vested interest in the actual truth!

Right now, we are seeing what happens when political people control a country, but have no real intelligence on dealing with crisis.  The politicians solution to things they don't understand is to blame some for the problem, and then rebuke them for their audacity in disputing the misinformation produced by these same politicians.

Politicians often quote each other as a means of grasping at credibility by associating their actions with their fellow ignorant peers.

It is interesting to see all the people get on board and do things like change their picture to them in a mask and preach to people to stay inside.  They seem to be want to be labelled a good citizen.  They also get mad is anyone questions anything.  You can see how the Soviets pulled it off, amazing how many people want to rat others out.

It is also disappointing to see people purposely disobey the distancing around people that are trying to stay away.  A woman here was complaining there were people standing in the post office blocking the entrance with no mask just being asses.  I am still taking precautions but I don't get crazy.
