janice6
I hadn't thought of it before, but. Long ago we had cars but I had never heard of children dying from being locked up in a hot car. Back then we had cars. Cars had locks. People shopped with their children. All the elements were there, but not the same consequences. I wonder if this became more common when children became so easy to get, and didn't offer the same concerns to todays parents as their other interests. The claim is that parents are distracted today. However, this seems to be more a tragic consequence of a conflict of priorities, when there should only be one priority, their CHILDREN.
