While the exposure of rampant corruption is desirable, the media jackals would either bury the damaging testimony or just lie about it.

Having the press as the mouthpiece of your lies makes many politicians nearly untouchable.

This is the biggest issue. We never would have gotten this far if the establishment media wasn't thoroughly corrupt. No matter what get exposed, the media will work hand-in-glove with the Democrats (and some Republicans) to spin, lie, obfuscate, and generally make sure that the majority of Americans who only superficially follow politics never understand what really happened. It truly is depressing.

I have become increasing less concerned with the media.  Vastly ironic as a former journalist....but there are precious few word smiths alive today.

While the exposure of a differing political bend may be beat for the upcoming election. Proving that being of a different political party makes your job performance treason and a “coup” is at best......stupid. And has no bearing at all on the Ukraine phone call or the withholding of congressional;y funded aid to a foreign government until a “favor” is done, which is what the impeachment is about.

there is no conceivable way to get to 67 votes for conviction. There is no standing to call witnesses of the FISA, CIA, FBI or Page, Strzok, Comey, or any other touted ‘conspirators to overthrow by illegal coup the chosen president, by a huge margin, of the American people’ or whatever the line is by now.
 

As they have no bearing on the phone call, which is supposed to be what the impeachment is about. 

And, as everybody involved knows very well, an acquittal vote is coming as there....is....no....way....to....get...67....votes...to...convict

So everything, absolutely everything, you will see, hear, watch, read about, rant about, listen to the asking heads pound on tables about.......is about the election.

poll numbers, sound bites, quotes, weekend political sow interviews, rabbit holes, demands and feigned outrage, and spin....is about the election and reelection of Senators and Reps.

The Democrooks have already given up on the White House. It shows every day with the shift in focus from the primaries to the unknown Senators that are running for re-election this year in battleground states.

 

Alex Jones rants and theories are funny, but hurt us in the end.

IMO, the presidents legal team is going about it wrong.  I read an op-ed that said they should ask for 3 months of discovery to review witness testimony, records, and subpoena evidence.  That would give them the chance to go through all the stuff the democrats have been hiding.   

Instead, they appear to be taking the swamp road and treating like it's a valid impeachment, instead of an opportunity to dig into democrat records and expose the left for what it's been doing.  Even if Trump is acquitted, it's a push, if not a victory for the swamp.

as in...the nuclear option, continuing resolutions, etc

 

if they dig as deep as the base wants them to, they will be dug into by the Democrooks when it’s their turn.
