The revelations in Snodgrass's book, "Holding The Line: Inside Trump's Pentagon with Secretary Mattis," come less than a day after the Pentagon announced Microsoft had won a hotly contested $10 billion cloud computing contractthat Amazon was favored to win. According to Task & Purpose, Snodgrass revealed that Trump called Mattis in the summer of 2018 and directed him to "screw Amazon" out of a chance to bid on the contract.
