Is anyone else a little bothered by the 'outpouring" of kind words and "proud service" comments from the majority of the LEFT and MSM? Yes, thank you for your military service John McCain. However, how many on "THE LEFT" did everything in their power to discredit and malign his record and presidential bid in 2008. It makes me sick to my stomach!

The left hated John McCain. They just hate Trump and America even more. If Sara Palin came out tomorrow and bashed Trump, she would have a feature on every MSNBC and dnCNN show.

The things I didn’t like about McCain were his infringement of both the first and second amendments, his support for amnesty for illegal aliens, his support for Obamacare, etc.  I can’t speak to his character but basically he supported everything I oppose.  But given his positions and what others have said of his temperament it is probably for the best that he wasn’t elected president.  I can empathize with his family, but I am not sad he is out of politics.

Not a very smart man.  He will be remembered as the 'that senator guy who excluded Trump from his funeral'.

The smart move would have been to invite Trump and and Trump sit there and listen to all the democrats say how great McC. was (and Trump isn't).

Also, he was a liar to his supporters i.e. not voting to get rid of Obamacare.  That showed he was a small man.

Aretha funeral at the same time as JM probably irks him ... she is taking some attention away from him.

Today, yes it is.

I have refrained from speaking ill against him since his passing, but as a native of Arizona, I am pretty displeased right now of how he helped plan his ceremonies. The DPS escort back to Phoenix from his home near Sedona after he passed didn't bother me. After two ceremonies in Phoenix on Wednesday and Thursday and another today in DC where his family was put on stage to grieve, I am getting pretty sick of it. Not to mention he has another memorial Tomorrow before his burial in Annapolis on Sunday.

I have respect for him for his service in the military, and some serious gripes about him as one of our Senators. To me, all of these services are a sign of his ego and disrespectful to his family who are constantly getting put on camera for the nation to see them grieve their loss.
