Administrators Eric Posted March 27 Administrators Share Posted March 27 On this day in 1977, two 747s collided on the runway at the Los Rodeos airport on Tenerife Island, The Canary Islands. 583 people were killed. 47 years later, this remains the worst air disaster in history.
