Administrators Eric Posted February 11 Administrators Share Posted February 11 Would a bottle of beer explode in a vacuum? How about a can of beer?Would the lack of pressure on them cause them to burst? I don't know why the question occurred to me or why I care and I am too lazy to look up the answer.
Administrators Eric Posted February 11 Author Administrators Share Posted February 11 OK, I got curious and look into it a little. This is a can of Sprite, rather than beer, but I imagine a can of beer would yield the same result.

Some canned soft drinks seem to burst more easily than others when left on a patio in below zero weather. An observation, not a peer reviewed experiment.
