In a fortuitous turn of events, my shifts have been canceled at least through April 15 due to low hospital census. My next two shifts were this weekend, at the ER in Geriatric Sodom and Gomorrah. I am not complaining AT ALL. I have no issue with sitting on my savings and watching this plague go right on by.  Guess I'll get some much-neglected yard work done over the next couple weeks.

How about no income tax for two years. That way the tax payers are not on the hook for anything.

That puts the politicians on the hook for dealing with an operating budget for real.  Few politicians can work efficiently and frugally.
