Walt Longmire
Had a blast. Riding the snow machines way out on the Refuge. Lakes, creek beds. swamps, and Swanson River. Long hours of daylight. Nice temps in the 20's. Almost perfect snow conditions. Then holed up for the night. My son at his cabin, and me at mine. I slept like a baby.
Walt Longmire
The cabin in these pics is Refuge cabin out on Snag Lake. The only way to get to it is by bush plane or snow machine. The red machine is my Switchback Dragon. 136x2 track, aftermarket suspension, Sly Dog Powder Hound skis, Legend exhaust, Skinz bumpers, 700 cc twin. It's a great machine for exploring. It's geared down which makes it nice for slow rides through the trees or creek beds. Will still top out at 90. Other machines I have will hit 120 mph on the lakes. The other machine in the pics is my son's recent purchase. Old square jaw Indy with a 136x 2.5 track. Has twin pipe exhaust. Hauls ass and has a sweet sound, but is louder than mine. I jokingly got masked up for when Jason showed up for coffee. I had found some masks I had for painting and dishwashing gloves one of the ladies left there, and some safety glasses. Fun times. Walt Longmire
This blue cabin is mine before we tore the area up with tracks. Snow is more than ass deep to a tall NDN.
tadbart
Aptly named Remote Cabin! Looks like a great way to practice social distancing! Well done, Sir.
