janice6 Posted March 18, 2020 Share Posted March 18, 2020 Disney is one of the leaders in knowing what attributes people see as "appealing" and what attributes define a "bad person". their cartoon are entirely based on this. Any other company doing successful cartoon characters knows this too! That cross-eyed look is 100% intentional, and I bet it's perceived as innocent and ingratiating. My daughter had business dealings with Disney for her company about licensing Disney characters. Since she was an artist and loved Disney characters, they made her the control in her company for ensuring the Disney look of their characters in reproduction.
