Anyone else here own and use a tube tester?

We'd run around town on "bulky trash day" and bring home all the TVs.  The drugstore had a tester,  and all the replacements in a cabinet,  but we just usually went by "if it doesn't glow and burn you it's bad".  We didn't care about part numbers and specs,  if it had the same pin-out it got plugged in.  Sometimes it took several TVs to get one working.

For a while,  I remember having one tv with a picture and another with sound.  I'd have to change channels on both of them to watch a show.
