To ignore people and do what they think will get them elected next time, or denigrate anyone who's smarter than them. It set's the bar pretty low. Low enough that even Democrats get through. You cannot simply implicate everyone in Congress or the Government without verifiable knowledge that she purchased the CIS, set up the CIS, and or maintains the CIS. Things do break, even when people try to prevent such issues. The CIS may well be a legacy system prior to her being there. If you want to implicate AOC, point out the stupid and banal things that she supports and what comes out of her mouth. She has more than her share of dumb ideas that are readily dismissible as utopian concepts that do not concur with human or sociological psychology.
